Brent Newton Family Foundation

More than anything, Brent Newton loved his boys--Warren and Owen--and his wife Sheryl. His passion for the mountains took them first to Colorado, and then brought them to Jackson Hole. Here in Jackson they started their beautiful family and the dream of a life in the mountains.

Brent was a member of the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department, an accomplished skier, and most of all a devoted husband and father. This web site is dedicated to the family of Brent Newton.

A memorial fund has been established to help Sheryl, Warren, and Owen cope with their loss as well as help provide them with a means to stay in Jackson Hole. To make contributions, please make checks payable to The Brent Newton Family Benefit Fund. Send to:

One can never be bored by powder skiing because it is a special gift of the relationship between earth and sky. It only comes in sufficient amounts in particular places, at certain times on this earth; it lasts only a limited amount of time before sun or wind changes it. People devote their lives to it "for the pleasure of being so purely played" by gravity and snow.
